Job Opening:
User Interface Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
UI designers work closely with stakeholders, product managers, engineers and other designers to translate rough ideas and opportunities into clear concept models, accessible brand identities, interactive prototypes, and successful product design; to create and evaluate low and high-fidelity products prototypes; and to design wireframe and specification documents. Employee will also participate in project estimation and budgeting and act as a “Brand Steward” in a cross-functional project team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding and enthusiasm for the latest web-based design, technology, and businesses


• Desire to practice and perfect the latest user experience methodologies


• Ability to listen to, empathize with, and inspire other creative individuals


• Masters degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer arts or fine arts


• Technical proficiency with the tools of the trade: Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Flash, Photography, etc.


• Examples of 2 or more websites/applications that you've led from concept through design
