DESCRIPTION:
User Interface (UI) designers at Ramirez Design are expert visual communicators with a passion for good website design. They can work with cross-functional teams to turn design ideas into clear concept models, accessible brand identities, interactive prototypes, and successful products. UI designers at Ramirez Design will work with a wide range of clients: from new start-ups to large, global brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with diverse product teams in a professional, innovative environment
- Create conceptual diagrams & illustrations to communicate ideas
- Create pixel-level specifications for web-based user interfaces
- Maintain a general understanding of the latest web-based design, technology, and business practices
- Develop skills related to observation and empathy for users
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, Interaction designers may have some or all of the following responsibilities for any given project:
- Create project plans and schedules
- Manage multiple projects and timelines
- Develop brand identities for new products and companies
- Participate in working sessions with clients
- Create and execute plans for user research and usability
- Conduct user and stakeholder interviews
- Draft research and recommendation summaries
- Design wireframe and specification documents
- Participate in project estimation and budgeting
- Create and evaluate low and high-fidelity product prototypes
- Track and communicate project budgets
- Act as “Brand Steward” in cross-functional project team
